LEMI has been manufacturing treatment tables, chairs and multi-function cabins for the Beauty & Spa sector since 1989.

Today, in addition to over 1,000 square meters of office space and a showroom of 500 square meters, LEMI boasts a workforce of more than 60 employees and a production area of over 7,000 square meters, including two fully-equipped production facilities in Azzanello and Casalbuttano.
1. What has your company done to assist spas and estheticians during COVID-19?
Despite the difficult situation, LEMI has committed to following all the guidelines to ensure safety in the company but above all, through internal procedures, it has had the opportunity to equip the office workers with the proper equipment to work from home in smartworking. This new reality has thus made it possible to guarantee a constant presence of the company and real-time assistance, as well as continuous support for customers and distributors from all over the world.
2. What advice does your company have for spas as they reopen and adjust to the new normal?
LEMI is fully convinced in engaging in professional training focused on systems and procedures to reassure customers, encouraging them to resume going to beauty centers and spas. The sanitation of reception areas aims at attracting customers who do not feel safe in wellness environments.
3. What digital resources does your company have for members of the industry to take advantage of?
Lemi has recently updated its website by allowing the download of several information and marketing materials. Then, it is so possibile to select a product and find the pdf product sheet and the warranty in addition to the photos and information about it. Moreover, Lemi provides technical and 3D drawings, installation diagrams, technical videos about the use of different equipment as well as emotional videos of the equipment in use in its proper setting. During the quarantine period, LEMI also set out its "SaniSpa Protocol": a document with the guidelines for making the treatment table safe and sanitized for treatment.
4. What products have you launched, if any, in response to COVID-19? Which of them were more successful?
We have created in the shortest time possible a moving protection called Spa SHIELD. Thanks to its thermoformed plexiglass structure it works as a double protection for both the customer who receives the treatment and the operator who can perform the treatment in comfort and safety. It has a metal painted base equipped with silent rubber wheels with brake and a fully height adjustable stand, so as to fit any spa bed. Always with a view to operating in conditions of maximum hygiene making the treatment bed safe, LEMI suggests to use the polyurethane mattress protection. The soft fabric side ensures comfort throughout the duration of the service, while the alternate polyurethane side in contact with the mattress/upholstery is waterproof, oil resistant and disposable.
5. How will your company continue to support the industry as we move forward?
With regard to the wellness sector, LEMI is confident that once the emergency is over, there will be a strong need for people to find both physical and mental well-being, which is why as a company we will continue to study new ways to make our products safer. This is what we have started to do since 2010, by introducing Nefos fabric line and, since 2016, the Spa Prestige line, which are treated with an antimicrobial additive technology that makes this vinyl leather fabric sanitized with a permanent effect.
